ZorziProf. Michele Zorzi

Prof. Zorzi is a Full Professor at the University of Padova. He is an expert of communications and networking protocols, energy-efficient protocol design, and sensor networks.

He leads WP0, participates in all WPs, and chairs the Steering Committee.

Casari

Dr. Paolo Casari

Paolo Casari is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Padova. He actively works on a number of topics in wireless networks, mainly focusing on cross-layer protocol design for ad hoc and sensor networks.

He assists the PI in the coordination of the project's efforts and participates in WP0, WP1, WP3 and WP4.

Prof. Neviani is an Associate Professor at the University of Padova. He is an expert of microelectronics and low-power analog and RF integrated circuit design.

He leads WP2, participates in WP4 and is a member of the Steering Committee.

Prof. Schenato is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Padova. He is an expert of control systems and wireless sensor network applications as well as location and tracking.

Prof. Vangelista is an Associate Professor at the University of Padova. He is an expert of wireless and software technologies, and has a strong industrial and implementation background.

The "Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo" (CaRiPaRo) Foundation is the Institution that funds the WISE-WAI project. Its philanthropic mission aims at sustaining social and economic development, especially in the territory of the Provinces of Padova and Rovigo.
